Application Instructions

1.0 Eligibility.
Students must be seniors graduating in the 2011-2012 school year who attend school in the Omaha Metro area and were honored as Rotary Honor Roll Students in the academic year ending in June of 2008.

2.0 Application deadline
Complete applications must be received by the Rotary Club of Omaha office no later than Friday, February 3, 2012 5:00 PM CST. Applications received after that time will not be processed. Complete applications consist of this form and a reference letter from a teacher or facility member.

3.0 Guidelines for filling out the application
All applications must be limited to the space provided. In some of the list questions (such as question 1.0), you can enter a maximum of 10 responses. If you have more than 10 answers, choose those that best describe you as a person and student, as well as your commitment to the community in which you live. Any alterations of the application form will cause the applicant to be ineligible for consideration and hand-written applications will not be eligible for consideration. Incomplete, modified, or late applications will not be considered without exception. Semi-finalist will be notified by March 12th, 2012 will be required to submit a certification of cumulative GPA and ACT score by March 26, 2012.

4.0 Electronic Applications
All applications are to be submitted on-line. Please go to http://scholarship.omaharotary.com and start your application by clicking check eligibility and complete the on-line application. You can update and edit as often as you want prior to the application submission date.
